My two wheel family

Its raining and its cold, but I got some work on the mustang done today and started to look around the garage and was saddened by the thought of all the neglect my two wheeled family has recieved for so long. I decided to take them down and give them a dusting.

Looking foward to signing up for the Sea Otter Classic held in Santa Cruz this coming April, so I better start training. Anywho, thought it would be cool to see some Stangfix members bikes. Hope everyone is well.

Here's mine:

Nothing special, but it gets me to and from work. It's paid for itself a few times now in just the gas savings.

Mine is actually hanging from the garage ceiling right now, waiting for warmer trail weather. I typically do a 30 mile trail ride on Saturday mornings.

It's a Trek 4300 hardtail.

Abe,
I see you are using one of my seats on the 610. Nice!!! Just do yourself a big favor. Raise the nose up on the seat. Top of seat should be parallel with the ground. You'll quit sliding forward when pedaling.

Here's my bike family:

My favorite road bike I just finished overhauling last night. A no name Italian built special I bought in Italy during the 70's.

CM1- A frame I built mid 70's using Reynold 531 tubing. Currently overhauling it as a upright bar 5 spd commuter.

Mr. VooDoo-Mtn Bike from the 80's. Never use it so I'm going to sell it this year. In the background is my wifes road
bike built by Tom Ritchey back in the 80's.

That hand built frame is nice looking Craig. What's special about it?

It is probably able to be used with the mankini........

Only the fact that I built that frame many years ago along with 2 others which are still on the road. Wish I had stuck with frame building by hand. It's a lost art now.

Hmmmmm, riding the bike in the Mankini? Note to self, bring a camera on the next ride.

Ok, I followed the instructions for posting a picture, it showed up fine last night, but now it's gone. What happened?

Frank, i can still see your specialized expedition bike. Works fine. Are you on a different computer? Or change your settings?
