Have you test fit the cluster to the dash yet? It seems odd that the bottom of the cluster is "straight". Notice that it's not shaped like the one you previously pictured. Will the straight edge along the bottom have enough material on it to cover/conceal the two "rounded" edges along the bottom of the dash.

Typical 65-66 cluster pictured below (mine). Notice how the cluster has two rounded protrusions to match those of the dash panel.

This is a R-model panel. It will have gaps. If anyone is interested in my old stock cluster with rally pac and clock, let me know...

You only need the curved bottom if you use the cluster with larger tach and speedo on the 65-66. On the 67-68 the bottom must be curved.
