New update done.

It appears that only the text boxes and some dividers are large. The white background with the topic options boxes and such are still the proper size.....

I just went through the mbb in the books post in chrome's developer tool and pulled code out line by line. the only thing that killed the issue was pulling out large pics and sigs.

It's drivin me mad.

Nick, that file was in the parent directory. I have moved it. I don't think it's the root of this nightmare.

Like the pirate that was asked "why the steering wheel on your zipper?" "Its drivin me nuts was his reply! "

and just to add some fuel to the inferno; I checked the site on my PHONE and it's still farg'd up just like the desktop. Stick that in your resolution pipe :hide

BTW, once I click "preview" everything goes back to normal and there's no screen problems until I click "post".

Except I am really missing the hover preview.... I actually have to GO into a post now to determine or not if I want to ignore the poster. :roll

The preview function just needs to be turned back on. I'm trying to hold off until I resolve this issue. No need to to add more code to weed through.

Sluggo called me to have me take a look. The #1 thing that would help me figure out WTF is up is actually having a browser (especially chrome or firefox+firebug) and see the problem. I've seen the screenshots, and I understand what you guys are seeing, but it's working like a boss on my browser (all three, Chrome, FF, IE) so I can't fix it.

It's like if someone brought their car to your shop and said "Look it's leaking coolant EVERYWHERE" and you look under the hood, and sure enough, dried coolant splashed all about, but every time you run the car, not a drop drips out. Guy drives his car home and comes back and it's obviously still leaking. The splash patterns will point you to what it MAY be...but until you see water running out an opening, you're just guessing.

Sluggo and I are just guessing right now.

But we're both still working the issue.

I tried clearing cache, cookies, history, rebooting and updated my version of Firefox. Still no change. Still scrolls.

OK, it's fubared when I'm logged in. It doesn't matter if I'm on IE, chrome, work computer, laptop, Windows XP, or Windows7. However, like Mark, it's fine if I log out and come in as a guest. Once I log in I feel like one of those googly-eyed pugs trying to look at it.

It's fine if you're trying to get rid of a few of us, really. Just man up and say so. Now I shall scrolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll to hit "post".
