just finished buffing this out after shooting it last week. the paintjob was so crappy that the color wouldn't blend, so ended up painting the whole car. i really like this blue, it would be a nice blue to use for shelby stripes on a white gt350 replica(even if it's a GM color) i'll try to get some outside daylight pics tomorrow..

Man, that's almost I-dent-acle.

Gotta love a scream'n yeller Fucos :weas

That is a VERY nice shade of blue.

One of these days I'm going to tire of my '66 white/blue combo and switch to what was originally my second color choice of blue/white. The blue I use will be VERY similar to what you just laid down.

WOW Steve, you really turned that one around from the last time I saw it. What you don't see is all the pounds of crappy filler work, doors not shutting, etc. someone else did that he had to fix before that beautiful paint job. Will get by one night this week.

Is it a metalic?

yep, a metallic with alot of pearl in it too. it's actually a factory 96 vette color. so close to the viper blue you would have to have both setting side by side to tell the difference.

What are ya gonna do with your blue roof, sell it for a fastback to coupe conversion?

okay, when I cut the roof off of my coupe will you paint it blue?

we need to not only cut the roof off for a vert, but also turn it into a 2 seat roadster like the early thunderbirds etc. i've had a few ideas about doing one like that for some time now.

I have always thought that to be a good option. I would even think about bringing the rear wheel well forward about 8" or so. Hmmmmm....wonder how fast it could be done. I hate to miss good driving weather.

pulled it out of the shop today & gave it a bath. still need to hang the running boards & mount the new center console in the morning so it can go home.
