No shaft

Last time I was at my mechanic he mentioned my drive shaft seemed too short. It worked but it didn't seem right.

So today Craig came over and we measured and took the shaft out. Seems to be 1 inch short. Spline shaft of course takes up the slack but it seems a better solution would be a new drive shaft. So Craig took it of to the shop on his way home. I'll pick it up the new one on Friday and we'll install on Saturday.

But was it a big spline? I've heard spline count is more important than shaft length.

Yes, I got the shaft today, but it was a big block shaft. Sooooo big!
