So.....you actually listen to the am/fm radio side of things? I gave up on them a long time ago with sat. radios.

I enjoy my regular stations. People who have lived in pittsburgh (tim) can attest to us having some pretty good local staions.


Anyway, to put this issue to rest, this week a new antenna was released by GM that is significantly shorter (about 3 inches). Now no issues for me. Everything works great.

Although XM and onstar work fine without it. .

Remove the antena since the XM and onstar will work without it then install one of the hidden aftermarket antenas for the AM / FM.

Are those Terrains really that tall?

Yep, i dont know about all of them, but the SLT2 Options with the 19 inch wheels just dont fit in. It was a big enough problem for GM to release a new antenna. Terrain forums are loaded with complaints about it.

Have you tried opening the lift gate while it is in the garage I ask this because we just picked up the Enclave. The front end of the Terrain is way high on the cool factor for me but we needed a bit bigger rig....

yes, the power lift gate is programable. So we cant open it all the way up, but theres no issue getting stuff out of the back.
