I met Craig and his wife Tara, super nice people. I hope we get to hang out more in the future. He got to meet Greenmachine28965, who is my painter and good friend. I hope he posts the pics that he took from our tent.

I just got home form unloading the 32 and the 57. I'll post up the pics in the morning. I too hope to get to hang out with you guys!

craig, have you run into my dad yet? look at the last pic you posted of the cuda. if you look up the antenna stalk, it runs into the grille of his truck in the background. he's sharing a large tent with the guys from advance plating & greening auto works.
That's cool. I wish I had known. I would go out and run thru the parking lot and take pics real quick. Tex wanted me in the booth to help answer questions and and stuff so I didn't have have lot's time to look around.

Here are the pics:
While most cars look better in pictures than real life, that was not the case with the Green Mustang. It was so cool pictures do not do it justice. And the Cobra Jet clone might look rough but you should hear it!!!

Thanks Larry!
It was cool seeing my wife Drive the Mustang out of the show last night while all the other cars were loaded on trailers!

Thanks for posting the pics Craig. I hope you get to hang with us at some Rod Runs. There are more Mustangs in our group along with many other cars. Your car was right up there with the other cars that were inside. You don't give your car enough credit. I hope you come to Hardinsburg for the Nostalgia Drags and car show on Sept 17th.

The only reason my car made this show was because my Gran Torino has some issues that need to be resolved. I had more fun in my Mustang and had more people looking at it. In the pics you can see the other cars in our tent and my car got just as much attention if not more than they did. More pics were taken of the Green Machine than any other though.

Thanks Alex, I hope I do too. I really don't want my car to be a show car, each rock chip is a badge of honor! But I do like that the girls like it!

Fixed it for ya....

that too!
I was watching and if a kid really seamed like they liked it or interested I would ask them or the parents if they wanted a picture sitting in the car. It's not a big thing but I bet I made a few kids happy. There was one paraplegic boy in a wheel chair and I asked the parents if it would be hard to get him out of the chair. They said no, why? I asked if he would like to sit in the car. The parents almost cried, they put him in and took lots of pictures and really thanked me. Another kid was with his older brother and maybe his grandpa, he was crying. I asked him if he would like to sit in the car and he instantly quit crying and had a big smile!

That is pretty cool Craig. Most people are so uptight about their cars and that defeats the purpose of shows. You probably made those kids day and gave them something to brag about to all their friends.

yeah, I let half a dozen kids or so sit in it. Even a few big kids! One guy saw me letting a kid sit in it and asked if he could so I said sure. I also saw a few guys with GF's that were drooling on it so I let the GF's sit in it while the BF's took their picture. It was pretty cool and I bet no other show cars were doing it. In fact many had sign. "Do Not Touch"

I can understand that some of the cars have a lot of money into them, but they are not made of glass.

I would let kids sit in mine but no one pays any attention to it at shows.

Good deal Craig, letting them sit in it, I have always let others sit in mine....old or new.....love the looks on the kids.

yes, I know a lot of those high end cars are pretty nice and have a lot of money invested. I'm sure no one expected to be able to get close, let alone sit in them. I figure it's just a car and the kids and even adults will remember how it made them feel. I was looking at a race car once and the guy asked me if I wanted to sit in it, I still remember how excited I was!
I am really glad that Tex asked me to bring my car, I didn't figure it would attract much attention. It didn't draw a crowd like the 57 did but it made me feel good that a lot of people liked it and I enjoyed seeing people sit in it and be excited. A lot of them wouldn't get in, they were afraid they would hurt it, but I told them I had boys and they climb in it without hurting it. Plus I really am proud that it is a driver. Even if I had the money to build a show car I wouldn't enjoy it like this car!

Craig, You are a really good guy. I would let people sit in my car but I would have to make sure that they were up on their tetenus shots.
