oil pan question

I had to remove the oil pan in getting the steering box out. It's a 7qt Milodon. I'm running a stock oil pump, and don't plan to over rev the motor...just have a little fun now and again.

My question is: should I reinstall the Milodon or go back to a stock pan?

If you have the standart oil pump snorkel , you can go either way .
But I would use the milodon oil pan WITH the approperiate snorkel so you have more oil at your dispossal.
IMO those V8 engines with standart oil pan , haven't enough oil to work with.
