So, I was looking through some old pictures. I Found three pics that show some of my mustang related history. The first shows me at age 5 in front of my dad's red falcon convertible. I think it was a 63. That is what made me like red verts. Mom wadded that car up when I was about 8 and dad bought a GTO. The second pic shows me in 1981 with my 67-68 frankenstang. Dad and I built this car from a 67 and a 68, and this is a pic from before we started getting it ready for paint the second time after outr first crappy paint job was faling off. You can see where I have primed over some bondo bubbles that were showing up. THis car gave me my interest in the 67-68 cars. Note the super cool 80's look with the Justin Beber haircut, the members only jacket and the kswiss shoes. If not for the mickey mouse shirt, I would have been too cool for school. The last pic is of me and the folks at my college graduation. Behind us is the 85 5.0 that my parents had given me for graduation about two months before. This car gave me my appreciation for the 302 and how it can make these little cars scoot. They took the 68 back home and sold it, complete with the bag of weed in a hiding spot in the back of the console. It is nice to have these pictures to explain why I love my red 67 vert with the 302. And now you know too.
