Did you mix up the paint when you redid it? Looks like the baby blue that was the interior color is now the exterior color and the black exterior is now the interior color....

Notice, too, how removal of the rocker panels affects the color of the car. Do you really want your car to change colors?

I think it looks good with out and I think it looks good with the trim. I will be putting the rrim back on my 66. I have seen some place that some one made custom rocker side panels.

It is missing out of the garage and as soon as you locate it, you will see if you can get someone to help you grill holes in that new paint.

I know what you mean about drilling into the new paint. Last weekend I drilled holes in the fenders for the emblems. It just about killed me to have to do that.

It all depends on what you are going for. If it's the performance look :run, leave them off. If it's the stock look :bow, put them back on. If you want marital bliss :wor, put them back on. Your choice.

You do realize that if you put them on, you will forever be harassed on here about this.....no :cry either, :vio .

How bout I just velcro them on so when the car is out of my wife's site I can take them off. :hide :tigg

Hmmmm, put them on the car and get harassed here or leave them off and become one with Rosie.

I'd put them on, that way we all win. You keep getting what YOU want and we get to harass the hell outta you :pop

I'll just tell her that if I put them on it will change the dynamics of the car and cause the muffler bearings to overheat. :crazy :danc

I still believe my original advice was correct: rockers on one side; no rockers on the other.

Very few people will notice the difference; only MCA judges and the like.

Just put one on the passenger side, so she only sees it, and never allow her to drive! :dumas
