Well I know this is the Stangfix but I have to say I am expanding! This 69 Kingswood I bought a couple years ago. The engine was not original and it turned out to be a later model low compression smog motor and eventually developed a knock. So I bought a 350 from Bill. It’s a 69 350 with late model heads. Anyway my sons and I swapped it in. My youngest son loved it and when got married last August I gave it to him as part of his wedding present.

Oh and BTW, I’ve been posting about Chevy trucks and boats and nobody seems to mind lol.

How’s that engine holding up for him?

Engine was running great. The starter came loose and broke a bolt off in the block even with the block. He doesn’t have a good place to work on it so we are going to drag it over to my house and try to drill it out.

That sux. I put that hi torque starter on. I had to drill and heli coil the block when I snapped a bolt off on the starter also.

we noticed that one, it was the other one that broke! So it might have two heli-coils in it now!

The Impala is sharp! You can't just post up a single pic with the caption " the Impala is mine..." and leave it at that! What's the story? What's under the hood?

Do you happen to know Jenny's phone number?;)

Take pic of that one.

My son is driving that one while his cars are down. He has three wagons and all three are inoperable at the moment! The Bobcat you may recall him having is undergoing a V8 transplant. The Torino has a badly rusted gas tank and we can’t find one. And the Kingswood as I mentioned had broken starter bolt. I’ll get a pic of the truck if I see it again!

Well some of you might remember Jerry Coleman from Texas, had the anti-Eleanor 67. Anyway he sold that to some guys from South Africa and got this 61 Impala about 5 years ago. He put a 6.2 GM Crate LS3 and auto overdrive in it. Added hydro boost brakes from a Mustang and cooling fan from a Mustang. Swapped the old rear axle for a Currie 9”. Added vintage AC. Stuff like that. He drove on the Power Tour a few years and decided to build something else so he wanted to sell it. Last year at the end of the tour he left it in North Carolina at s consignment car dealer for hot rod stuff. Well in June he asked if I would fly out and get it and bring it to him so my wife and I did but we drove it on the Power Tour. She fell in love with it. After 10 years or so of driving fussy non AC cars on the tour we had basically a new car that looked old. So during each stop we met up with Jerry and Carla and talked and eventually we got to asking about buying the car. By the end of the tour we had struck a deal and we just drove it home and kept it!!!

The Road Runner is Jerry’s also. He has tasked me with getting it running and selling it for him in exchange for a new HVAC system in my house!

Lots of cool stuff there Craig. I wish my wife was as forgiving of car projects as yours.

I really wanted to do a wagon someday.

I picked up an 87 jeep Cherokee that I'm doing a mild restoration on now.
