power steering control valve to cylinder hose

Has anyone tried the hoses sold as "like original" for the '67 and up cars yet? If so, what is your opinion of them. The parts store hoses I'm fighting are winning.

All the PS hoses on my '69 were bought from NPD, as well as all the ones that were on my daughter's '69. They weren't bent quiet like the originals, but they fit on without too much fighting.

The most important part, as I recall, was just putting them all on in the right order. Not that I remember what that order is. It was just trial and error at the time.

I lost the battle on a couple from Napa on my 69. I did like Johnpro stated and got replacements from NPD. Order is important or else you can't get to the ends on one of them easily.

Hey, it's Terry! Good to see you, dude! Don't be such a stranger! You know that we still consider you as part of the NorCal clan, don't you?

I replaced my stock old hoses with Gates ordered through O'Reilleys and like everyone else struggled with the proper 'route' to run them, wish I had taken pics of the routing upper and lower sides, would have saved me a lot of time and disconnecting/reconnecting. Once I was happy they wouldn't bind or burn on the exh. they worked fine.
