Question for the International StangFixers

Why would the server care what time it is where ever they came from?
 
i like the manufacture date idea.
I get USA dates mixed up all the time when the day date is below 13.
Our way makes more sense - day then month then year.
And you drive on the wrong side of the road.
And you cant spell.
At least yous'e can make good cars

Way too many ones and zeros!

The current UNIX timestamp is:1262984964 which is the number of seconds that have elapsed since midnight, 1/1/1970.

Represented in hex that would be:
