Rack & Pinion Steering for 65-66

I just installed a manual TCP rack in my 65 Coupe. It might be a year before I can comment on the driving part of it. I installed easily and sure is purdy in there....

If TCP is the way to go I don't mind spending the money. This car is taking far too long to cheap out on something. Is anyone running the TCP setup that can comment on it?

I'm running the Gen 1 Total Control Manual rack with disk's up front, 620 Coils, Koni Shocks and 215x60x15's. It's a bit hard to turn out the garage from a dead stop, but drives good. SouthWest Mustang said it was hitting on my spindles on a hard full turn which was restricting the turning radius. To be honest, I didn't notice that, but like it. It's not power so it is hard to turn from a dead stop, but generally like it.

I have the Gen II Unisteer manual rack, it was only $775 shipped from Summit. The install would only take about 4-6 hours if you have a lift and do not break anything getting the cross tube off the car.
