Dang...houses there are pretty cheap.

Just for comparison sake this place is for sale next door to me and is only slightly larger sq footage wise.

It's been on the market a while now and normally stuff in our neighborhood is gone in a few weeks. Might be because a relocation company is selling it, not sure but the old neighbor took great care of the place and I've been really surprised it's still there. It was option pending last week but is back on the market now.

That just might be the case.......I actually kind of enjoy not having a neighbor.

Last guy that lived there was some liberal wacko and I seriously considered running over his Obama yard sign a time or two during the last election.

The boys are hoping someone with a boy or two their age that likes to play football / baseball will move in there.

There was one lady on a Saturday looking at the house that had a 2 or 3 year old daughter with her. The boys told me to go make a lot of noise in the garage so she'd leave without being interested, they are almost too clever for their own good some days, LOL!

I'd prefer a hot milf myself :roll

Guess I shouldn't post that link though...with my luck Mark is thinking about moving to the Houston area and just hasn't said anything yet.

Only been through Houston once, back in the early 80's and IIRC, it was a sharthole then. Can't imagine it being better after all this time!

sharthole describes a lot of Houston pretty well.

The sad thing is "Houston" is growing and I'll probably eventually have to move farther north if that continues. Houston took over the FM 1960 area to grab the tax revenues several years ago. That area wasn't bad in the late 80's or early 90's when I was in high school. Now, I refuse to go to that area without my pistol on me. It's only about four or five exits up the freeway and I have to go up that way every time the boys have an eye doctor or dentist appointment.

Our immediate area has stayed pretty nice though. I miss when I was a kid however and this was somewhat "the country"...too much traffic and people now for my taste.
