Experimented with basecoat/clearcoat black out.
Used black basecoat and clear with flattening agent in it to achieve a 30% gloss. It will deaden just a bit more over the next couple of days. I think it's a pretty close match to factory, except it can be cleaned, won't water spot as badly and won't get milky in a few years.
I'll get a pic of the hood when it's finished. I had to let the underside dry more before I flip it over and paint it.
