Reattaching seat back to bottom

Ok, Ive got my passenger side bucket ready to go back together but I'm having some trouble getting the hinges over the studs on the seat bottoms. In fact I've pretty much conceded it's a two-person job, if one of the persons is me.

Any tips would be welcome, especially whether to do the long hinge first or the short hinge...

Came back to answer my own question in case anyone else turns this up via search.

Put the hinge pin through the short side first. Run a paper clip or the like through to keep it from backing off. Then round up a buddy that weighs at least 225 and is willing to bust a hump helping rassle that sucker over the other hinge pin.

Actually round your buddy up first so you have an extra set of eyes & hands so you can keep an eye on both sides at once and make sure the hinge doesn't tear your upholstery on the side you aren't looking at.

Worked for us.
