Remembering Uncle Vinny (Teebone)

Today is one year since we lost my dear Vincent.

If you remember, he suffered greatly for 96 days at
Duke University Hospital in North Carolina.

He was my loving husband, best friend, mentor, protector,
and everything else that comes with a wonderful life partner

I knew him for 51 years, and married to him 22 years and I'm still
lost without him. Everything is as he left it until I can find the
strength to address them.

How he loved and looked forward to all the get-togethers in Iowa (cornfeed),
California (Knotts) and all the great friendships he made with each of you thru
the many years.

For those of you who knew him (and his wisecracks as well), please say a
prayer for him today as he finds comfort in heaven

Toni:

Visiting with both of you during Knott's was always a treat for us. We very much miss Vinny too.

Warmest regards, Jeff & Diane

Yes we miss him too. I'm sure he's bothering JohnPro and telling him that no matter what John is working on in heaven it ain't worth the trouble.
I still remember at Knotts when we went to Portillos he didn't understand how we could eat that food. :p

I probably think of him and others daily. May God comfort you and help you. May our dear Uncle look down on you with a huge smile. Know he is waiting for you and still loves you as much as day one.

Amber and I miss him. We welcome you with open arms if you need a get away.

Love you both much!

Mel and Amber.

Thank you fellas. I'm grateful you haven't forgotten him.

He was a good, kind, caring man and very loyal to his friends

Kinda odd that Craig Maynard posted about JohnPro's tool box today
JohnPro's head shot on that paint stick is still hanging on Vin's garage wall

Yup Michael, he never understood the fascination with Portillos food

Portillos is good but nothing to write home about.

John's pic hangs in my garage as well.

Too bad there's no more Knott's. Would be great to get Toni to come out. I for one would enjoy her company around.

MITM???

I miss Uncle Vinny too.
I did some business with a fine gent who lives in Long Island and his accent reminded me of him.
I hope that you are well, Toni!
