Rick Chiapputo (Fast68back) has passed away.

RIP Rick.Us Mustangers will miss you and mat the Lord be with your family in this trying time.
 
holy crap, I am in shock! I haven't been on FB today and I just saw this thread. Rick and I still talked on FB once in a while and he was one of the Fixers who I have actually met. I can't believe it. Last week my father-in-law passed away so it has been an emotional time already. This is just unreal... :confused:

This flat out sucks... so shocked and saddened. I’ve lost too many mustang friends as it is...

So sad.....Not only was he a customer of mine, I considered him a friend even though I hadn't met him in person. R.I.P. Rick.
 
Craig, I'm not sure how we could do something collectively without a lot of discussion and shifting of monies across multiple hands. If you know of a way I'd be in but think it might just be better to each simply make individual contributions. Perhaps, so his wife would at least know and not be stuck trying to figure out where/why the donations originated, we could simply add a message indicating it came from a friend at StangFix or such?

If you are so inclined, I recommend contributing to the link above and simply add the word stangfix at the end of whatever comments you type.
I will be sure she knows who you are even though it's not necessary. She knows about the forum. I will be present at his service.

Randy, do you know what happened?
 
I still can't get over it. I know for many who were closer to him it must be even harder. The last time I saw him was at the end of the 2012 HRPT. A big group of us met up and had dinner together. I recall my wife and I sat next to him at dinner. Just sharing some memories... here are some pics we took then
