Am sitting at the hospital right now. Pop is finally getting the back surgery he has been waiting on for 4 months now while the VA drug their feet. After finding out last week that stephs job has been posted while she recovers then that they cancelled our health insurance on dec 18 with no notice, i could really use a break on something for once so hoping this goes well.

thanks guys & gals! surgery went well today. he seemed to be doing pretty good this evening when we came home. guess time will tell if he will ever walk again. hopefully this fixed whatever they messed up in oct while he was in the hospital after the heart attack. he already knew at the time that he needed surgery, but they were bound & determined to get him layed out flat for a scan & he hasnt taken a step since then. been a long hard road on top of everything else.
