Selling

I just got back from meeting with a guy to get a deposit and it looks like I am selling the Mustang.

He's offering to pay me $15k for the Mustang...I was kind of surprised he'd pay that much. I'd think I'd go convertible if not fastback if I was spending that much.

At any rate, the coupe is nice and glad to have found it a new home.

I'm selling because frankly I've owned the car for a little over four years and I'm kind of bored with it.

My plan is to go through the motor on the Trans Am then probably get it painted. I've also had an urge lately to buy a late '80's Fox body.

There were a couple of decent looking ones for sale at really reasonable prices last week...they are naturally now gone since I have the cash to go pick them up, LOL!

Not going to buy anything new right away unless I find a deal I just can't pass on.

oh what is happening!?!, First I get a Camaro, then Bill is looking at one and now you are selling your Mustang!!! :bomb

oh well, I hope that all goes well for you! I know where a 70 Boss 302 Clone is for just 16K.... :roll

Last week I had spotted an '88 Convertible GT that someone was letting go for $2k...unfortunately they have sold it. Same goes for a pretty nice '87 Hatch that I spotted last week for $3K.

I'll probably end up with another Mustang sooner or later but just going to wait on the "right deal"...I just couldn't pass up that much money for my current Stang....it's nice and has some pretty high end parts on it but I bet I could replace it for cheaper with a little patience.

My immediate plan is to get the Trans Am fixed up plus get the office addition we are adding on the back of the house done. The addition is going to be a hurdle but hoping to get it knocked out soon. We have the plans drawn up just have to wait a few more days to go before the monthly meeting to get the plans approved.

Next thing you know, I'll sell my 66 and buy a PT

Not to mention that it's not even a '90. It's a '87-'88. Notice the speed density EFI and the interior.

Steering wheel and armrest were the first to jump out at me.

That ad really personifies the typical Trans Am owner...always overcompensating.

Has anyone seen Mark's sense of humor? He seems to have misplaced it :nut

Me thinks he doth protest too much.
