Today was the first time since I started the interior install that I drove the turd. He's at the alignment shop this am. My initial reaction to how much quieter the car is simply WOW!
Second Skin's diamplier pro (vibration noise suppressant) against the metal through out, followed by their luxury liner pro (exhaust and motor noise suppressant) throughout including the trunk. Standard carpet with jute including a trunk carpet kit.
It was a lot of work and the car probably weighs a couple hundred pounds more due to this but I can actually hear the stereo and the Mrs will be able to hear her Ipod. That by itself was worth the extra work.
Not done with the trunk carpet kit but for now, it will be good enough. Still need to install the door panels which will only help the cause.
