........for a couple plus months anyways, until we get it in running condition and sold. If some of you can remember, a fellow Stangfixer said he wanted to sell his Mustangs and related stuff. Since this Boss 302 hasn't been driven for 3 + years, I knew it was going to need some work done before he could sell it. Thus being such a nice NorCal guy as you all know I am...
:bowdown
...I have stepped up to help GETERDONE. Yesterday morning it was trailered down to my place and with the help of fellow NorCal brothers JeffTepper and KBMWRS we rolled it out of it's enclosed trailer and into it's new temp home living with Shag. It's a matching number Metuchen beast, 4 speed, 9", factory shaker hood, blah, blah, blah.
Lots of work to do such as all new fluids, hoses, seals, etc, but it'll be fun to work on. According to the papers, I estimated it was totally restored 15 years ago. Unmolested original sheetmetal throughout. All I have done (yesterday) was to give the car a hand wash in place. Removed a few tons of dirt and grime.
Once done, this will be a very fun car to drive.
