Shelby drop and lowering spring

mine are Competition Engineering and are square tube but as I said they also cut into the floor. My son has some from Heidts for his 69 which look pretty nice but we haven't installed them yet

Unless you add a low running horizontal bar from the front point to the mid-point I disagree with you. All you have is an inverted "V" structure which will flex open when the rear bites down on a hard launch. There is a reason race cars have full tube chassis with a full cage on top, my friend. Just because your car lacks sufficient power to cause problems doesn't mean you're right! :D Yeah. I went there. :eek:

You’re just jealous that everyone BUT you, can drive their car.

I never said a SFC was useless. I’d have them if I could. My cage has low bars that connect the rear main down pipe to the front down pipe. No way for it to flex Einstein.

Stick to what you know. Disassembly and buying new parts.

Standard six-points don't have horizontal side bars, moron. Just center hoops with down bars front and back. That DOES NOT replace the need for connectors or full frame. And I am glad you recognize my advanced ability to waste money on parts for a car I may never drive.
 
I can’t help it that you have limited knowledge about roll cages. Just trying to learn ya. Only drag racers could be so ignorant about a cage without the proper bars.

So the video was great, but I do have a question. Obviously they have the car on a rotisserie, so do you use a lift with weight on wheels or do jack up the car in 4 points on the frame only?

In addition as my car is complete. I would think that it's not best to weld on the lower skins unless I remove the carpet?

I would weld it in as it sits fully loaded. If not, you could end up with a crooked car. Assuming the car is straight as it sits!
