Should I be Concerned About This???

HAHAHAh yea....just came across this thread and i was thinking the sxact same when i saw the pic...What's with the pork chops?

I don't know much about hair styles, but as I see it, he must be doing something right.

It's been 8 years since we saw our daughter off to the Prom, but I couldn't stand her date! It was long night for us! It was her boyfriend and I had to chase him away on more than one occasion. Thank god she saw the light and broke it off with him!

To the proud Pops that posted Prom photos of their daughters, Hope they had the time of their lives!

Dave.

I don't think there's much to worry about with that kid. Looks like your daughter could probably take him out with one punch. :beat

I think by the sound of things, your daughter has been taught well. On the other hand, I'm with Duane - Dude should have definitely helped her in the car first. Maybe that's a little old fashioned, but what can I say. Today's generation of kids definitely do things a little differently. By the way Bob, your daughter looked very nice. Congratulations on making it through prom night!

My two are 26 and 22 now. One of them has given me a grandson already and the other gags when you mention the word marriage. I made it through two prom nights unscathed.

New Orleans Red velour interior in the T/A?
My daughter went with a group of 20 kids last year. H2 stretched limo with 20 way split on the cost. All of the girls were dressed much as your daughter, and most of the guy's looked like her date. My only concern was for the poor outsider sob that tried to hit on any of the girls in the group. They protect each other like siblings. Most of the "kids" have known and hung around with each other since middle school.

Being a GM product, the kid was doing the polite thing.....he got the car started and made sure he could keep it running before allowing her to enter. Nothing worse than sitting in a dead car all dressed and nowhere to go....cuz the dang GM won't run.

I guess I'm glad I only have boys! I don't know what I'd do with girls. Boys are hard enough to keep out of trouble, but they probably won't get pressured by a hot girl on prom night to do something they shouldn't (maybe).
The T/A is kinda cool. Those were the car to have when I was in HS. My cousin and his best friend both had T/A's before I had my license but they used to let me cruise/ride with them in the burbs of Chicago. I always thought they were cool. My cousin had a black 73 455 4sp, and his friend had a gold 77 with a 400 auto. Neither had T-tops but both had the shaker scoop. Good memories!
