...we just cain't win with the 5,0 Mustang. Yesterday, we decided that having the driveshaft inspected/rebuilt was wise, and hoped might explain why the new T5z still leaks like hell. Took it down to the local driveline shop (130 mile round trip) and after spending 20 minutes trying to find the place because they don't know where their shop is, it ended up getting balanced and straightened.

Now, I'm pretty sure it's WORSE. I never noticed a vibration before and the first thing my buddy tells me is "it vibrates and leaks". Sumbiatch!!!! I started to get the heebie jeebies about the driveshaft shop when they couldn't tell us where they were after 5 phone calls...now I'm really wondering if they are competent.

This car sucks. I'm pissed. Someone pass the Jameson. If the owner pulls a stoopid after me telling him "Don't ***ing drive it like this or you'll *** it up worse", I'm gonna loose it.

Thanks for listening

Don't give up , it will be worth it. :vic

I don't know what shop you used but I always take mine to the one in Lancaster. They've always done a good job for me.

Doug, we took it to Marietta Clutch...they used to do a good job for us. Maybe "used to" is the key. :lol I noticed the guy only spun it up to ~2200rpm; I dunno if that's standard proceedure or what, but it seemed kinda strange for an application that sees ~2800rpm every day.

PS: I went by their house this morning and guess what wasn't parked out front? F me! There's no helping some people....
