Speaking of bucket lists----

I never really gave it a lot of thought but I kind of have a bucket list---I always said I wanted to see some other countries before I die, I have managed to viset a few--crossed that off, I have also said I would like to go peacock bass fishing in the amazon, not sure about that happening, did tell a fishing buddy to put on his list a "fly in fishing trip" into Canada, I am going to north east Minnesota in June for a week,(haven't been there since I was 8) Anyway what is on your list????

Obviously, getting my 65 back on the road. Another thing I've always wanted to do is catch a night race at Bristol.

On my list was visit Canada, I did it twice, I've been all over Mexico as well. I've done the big game fishing and shot buffalo. The main thing is that I always said I would retire by the time I was 45. I was 42 when I retired from state service. I have since returned to work, too boring to be at home and Mustangs require lots of money.

So my new bucket list has to pay off my house in the next 12 years. It is doable.

SWMBO and I want to travel certain parts of the world.

Not really a list but more of hopefuls.....go to Ireland, New Zealand.

I consider myself lucky that I have been to or done some of the things others have noted.

see the daughters graduate and eventually marry
see the Daytona 500 in person
parachute again
drive cross-country
live someplace other than California
visit some South Pacific islands
race on the Bonneville salt flats
ride in a Navy fighter plane

I'm about to do something that's been on the top of my Bucket List for years: I'm heading to the Indianapolis 500 next week!

I have only been to the time trials once---I was there on a hazy day and was amazed that the bleachers were so long they disappeared into the fog--it is really neat---and the cars are really small up close--it will be a blast!
