Speaking of bucket lists----

Most of bucket is traveling. I have done a lot of it already

Ireland---done
Italy----done
London ----done
France ----done
Spain----done
Australia
Alaska
I have seen most of the US, but would still like to see NY and California.
Drive on the autobahn
Drive an exotic car very fast somewhere.
Do the Hot Rod Power tour.
Find my Dad's 69 Camaro.

I'm still trying to earn my black belt but it's looking like I should be one step closer in June when I take my test for 1st kyu and then if all goes according to plan I should be taking my exam for black around next May or so. That said it's still a long road so I am not scratching it off the list just yet.

I have a black belt, also a brown one--oh you mean karate degrees! -I have nothing like that!---lots of work I am sure.

I would like to get my coupe done and take it to the hot rod power tour and yellowstone, Finish putting a 318 detroit in my 72 highboy and competition pulling it, finish my 78 t-top, fix my dad's 1930 harley, and have some kids, make out with charlton heston

What sort of 78 t-top do you have?

I have a '79 Trans Am with t-tops that I really need to start making some forward progress on. Did a little last Sunday but not too much.

With kids...be careful what you wish for. I love my kiddos to death but they can be a "challenge" some days and I sure as heck would have a lot more time / money if I didn't have kids.

Cobra 2 mustang, I'm gonna have kids after i get at least 2 of those projects done my bro just had a kid a year ago all his projects have been on hold ever since in my build thread thats his 92 351 bronco he put a 6'' suspension lift/straight axle in next to my car he works on it 1 every 3 months, lol... :roll

I just crossed one item off my bucket list--a full transit of the Panama Canal. I still want to see the Great Wall of China and do an African photo safari, and there are several more countries that I'm interested in seeing. I'm almost developing a separate bucket list of places to go dive.

The first couple of years they are super time consuming. My guys turn 10 next month and I have more free time now since they are old enough to have friends over on the weekend or go to a friend's house and play, etc.

I've been making limited progress on the TA due to the boys' baseball season, getting ready to take my next belt test and things of that nature. June is going to be insane because the first weekend my wife's niece is graduating high school in Austin, the second weekend is the boys' birthday party and then we are taking a vacation the third week of the month. Leaving on a Saturday and getting back on a Saturday will basically take up the third and fourth weekends. I made a good deal of progress in November to January after I first bought the car but then baseball season hit. Hoping July things will settle back down so I can start really moving forward again.

The boys now that they are older still take up a lot of time during the week with ball practice, ball games, making sure they have their homework done, etc. I am almost done repeating 3rd grade now and will be repeating 4th grade next year, LOL!

Forgot to mention....when you have kids you also get to do fun things like this morning I sent an e-mail to the boys' coach from this season basically saying under no circumstances should he ever draft my kids again. They were asking if they could be traded after the first couple of practices, etc, etc. The guy is a real card carrying idiot.

This is the coach that the assistant coach got enough of about the middle of the season and chewed him up one side and down the other then resigned as assistant.

The boys are insisting that I coach in fall ball and I've already arranged it with the first coach they ever had in a different league to be an assistant. Basically, we've been working on building a team but just in case for whatever reason if I can't coach I wanted to make darn sure we were never on this clown's team again.

I can't imagine the league will let him coach again given what myself and some other parents wrote on the coach evaluations but just in case.

I wanted to tell him in person hoping he'd take a swing at me however, the wife preferred writing him and I thought it was a good idea. This way, if he somehow was ever clueless enough to draft the guys again I can prove I told him we won't play for him again when I raise hell at the board demanding a trade or a refund of registration fees.

Short and long of it is you get to have all kinds of fun tasks when you're a parent. :wth

Wow sounds like that guy needs a kick in the sack, I know all about these kinds of people when i was in highschool i wore my dads old camo army jacket to school in the winter because we were poor the one teacher i hated made me go to the office because i was wearing it i got home late because of a detention, the next day my dad MADE me go back with it on and said if i get any trouble have them call, they called and i never had a problem with the one teacher again, sometimes a good old fashion a$$ chewing does wonders.

Yeah, he needs an a$$ kicking like no one's business.

I jokingly tell my wife now she's a "fantasy killer" because she didn't want me to go get in the guys' face and tell him don't even think about ever drafting the boys again. It would be a fantasy come true for the dude to be dumb enough to take a swing at me. He would have just converted him likely suing me for kicking his a$$ into me getting to give him the a$$ kicking he needs in "self defense".

I am shocked though that the guy has coached or managed a team for 4 season...you'd think someone would have complained somewhere along the way before now. I know for a fact the team mom said flat out on her coach evaluation form they would not play for this guy again period. I wrote something very similar on mine.
