OK, so I ran the numbers at this point to give us a snap shot look at the average Fix member.

Age: 46.5
Marital Status: Married -- 18.5 years
Children: 1.5

The things that really jumped out at me were how many people waited until much later in life to tie the knot and how many have no kids. The other really interesting response was just how many LONG TERM marriages our group has managed. For such a small sampling we have a very high number of quarter century and greater unions going on.

We'll see how future responses line up and/or affect the averages.

PETE! 10 days! wow. I thought I was the only crazy one! I met my wife on a Thursday, asked her to marry me on the Saturday after and we eloped the very next Saturday! So we also only knew each other for 10 days. We will celebrate 19 years in August. A few of those years have been happily married!

Guess it's only proper to reply since it appears my anniversary post spurred this idea! LOL

Not only does it NOT feel I've been married that long, I don't feel old either!! The wife tells me on a weekly basis to "grow up". Guess that's why I feel younger! LOL
