Stangwich

I drove the 'Stang to work today (in spite of the Icelandic-Volcano-Ash-Fallout-Scare) and saw this view out of my office window.

I never used to think of a Mustang as a large car, but compared to the "normal" cars parked next to it, it's huge!

Do you keep one of those small compact cars in your trunk in case of emergency??? :craz :craz

Every time I drive my mustang on my four post lift , Its remember me what a big car it is compare to european car , OF COURSE !!

Those are sure small shoe boxes. Did they wash them in hot water and shrink them? I can not imagine putting myself in one of those small things.

My Ford Focus hatchback is larger than the 66 and it's (Focus) considered an econobox :ep

Don't think I am capable of contourting myself to squeeze into one of those. The Mustang looks great by the way. Two thumbs up.

Do be carefull over there and don't take that ash lightly, it can do some serious engine damage. Check the air filter daily and dont operate the car without one they get dirty fast. That ash is glass beeded and when it gets into the carburation it scores up the cylinder walls. We went through that stuff with Mount St Helens in 1980. On aircraft engines it clogs up the fuel nozzels so the engines flameout and there is no where to go but down.

Ia'm sure you will be getting all kinds of info on the ash clouds cause it doesn't sound like its going away anytime soon.

One more thing. I have been a jet engine mechanic since 1968.

they are cancelling flights here in Brazil due to the ash, they won't fly planes thru that stuff. I hope I get to go home.

It sure makes it easy to decide which one you would prefer to drive. the classic lines of yesteryear sure are enviting compared to todays choices.

Nice Pic, the stang is huge by comparison.
