.....since it is now a Florida car, figured I had better get some shots of the '66 with the local water.
As far as work done....The first thing was to get the drivers side tail pipe welded up into position. The weld pulled off the rear mount prior to arriving here. Then I had to clean the sand and road dirt from the car. Midlife and I did some wiring of the fogs and the emergency flashers and I installed the headlight relays for better night time running. I am playing with a warm running situation when it idles for a while but am winning with that little problem.
Future plans include a 6 gauge instrument cluster to eliminate the under the dash set. A new windshield is in order along with a reseal of the back glass and a couple of new seals in a couple other places. I also will replace the wiper switch with the variable speed one from NPD. The one biggy will be the air conditioner/heater unit that fits where the heater is located.
It is fun to be in traffic and bark the tires when it hits second.... :10
