That makes 5 white vehicles

So my thread got hijacked, that is what we do.
Sold the Ranger today to the first person to look at it. On Craigslist for a day, took the add down.

I was always enamored with the 914's, and never got to drive one. When they first came out, it was stated that they had more than 400 mile range (or was it 600 miles?) on a single tank of gas. The Porsche purists turned their noses down on them; my neighbor at the time was a 911 fanatic, so that wasn't surprising.

How do they compare to today's Miata's? They are similar in size...

Sorry for the hijack, Dude. Congrats on the quick sell.

Mid, you could probably coax 600 miles out of a tank if you took it real easy, but who's going to do that? LOL! 400 is more realistic with the 16 gallon tank. That's about what I get in my other 914, which I've had for more than 30 years. As for the Miata, I guess it depends on what you're looking for, the condition of the car, etc. I hear the Miatas can be pretty quick.

Around here if they're in decent shape and not priced like they were brand new, they sell FAST! IDK why in the hell Ford stopped making them. They seem to be as popular now, if not more so, than when they were still in production. I was looking for one several years back. I didn't want to replace my F150 with it, I just wanted something that got a little better mileage for the daily commute to work and to keep the miles off my F150. Everything I could find was either waaaay too pricey or had a gazillion miles on it. I ended up just giving up on the search (and because they're the same truck, I had included the Mazda in that search too!).

Chocolate chip cookies or peanut butter cookies? Explain in detail your reasoning for either.

Here is what the new Ranger is supposed to look like next year when it returns to the US market. My son took this pic in Namibia last month. Sorry it's not white to keep post on topic!
