****************Abe's Mom***********************

Good evening everyone, this is Abe's mom. He was trying to do something on his laptop right before I had to take him in. He is now in stable condition and if everything goes well, he will be discharged on Friday. He said something about the guys from stangfix right before he started having troubles breathing. The doctors are thinking that it was a peanut allergy due to the moldy peanuts we found on the counter where he was typing. We appreciate all your thoughts and prayers on his recovery.

Does anyone have any idea why he would eat moldy peanuts? We had to bring in a sample and the doctor couldnt imagine why anyone would ever ingest such a thing into their body.

Thanks again everyone.

Yet another epic thread at the StangFix. I could almost see this one coming, all day long Mark was looking for Abe. As the day continued he got more and more distressed. Then the post from his "mother" with Abe in the ER. :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl fd

Hey everyone, hows everyone doing? Yes yes, I'm fine. A little gas from the peanuts but couldn't pass up this opportunity.

Mark was very nice enough to check up on me, and then I figured I would kind of run with the whole Boiled Peanuts killed the kid in California. Anywho, hope you all enjoyed it.

Good health to everyone.

So how were the "boiled nuts"? Besides the gas how did they taste. Nuts are one of my favorite snack foods. fd

I must admit, that was damn funny! Those pics were great, I'll bet your co-workers thought you were...............nuts :lol

That is what I look like after eating a 5 lb. batch of God's little gifts in one sitting. Drifting off into a self induced boiled peanut coma. :ecit

With all those pics you've posted, I wouldn't have guessed your back door swung that way :ep

LoL! Glad everyone got a kick out of them. I actually walked over to pre-op for the pics. The nurses thought it was hilarious, they had initially taped an IV to the upper left portion of my chest as if I had a central line, then they had the oxygen hoses hooked up, we had the hose coming up into the sheets in my abdominal area to look like a drain, and had the crash cart next to my head displaying a flat line (obviously since the leads were not hooked up) as the nurse held the defib paddles right above my chest. It was pretty fun and funny but once we took a peak at the end results we decided it was a little too much, so we went for a not so real look. LoL

The hose is actually connected to a blower that circulates warm air throughout a patients body in order to relax it, which in turn has proved to require less anesthesia during surgery which equals quicker recovery time.

Soooo, to put to rest the lingering question

A - the most delicious snack I've ever had
B - It was good, but they're over hyped
C - No thanks, they were gross
D - Give em to Bush
