Hi Markus

Glad you saw it this way and didn't take it personel.
It wasn't an attack at the german people but more a disbelieve that someone like Oettinger represent the EU.
Do it like Merkel , speak german and admit you can't speak english.
BTW , it seems that Oettinger even can't speak german perfectly.
Some german politicians starts to laugh when he is debating in a talkshow!!!
Says enough.

The guy just fills in German words when he doesn't know the English one.

I speak German, and I got a chuckle out of him telling people how well he speaks English.

Your English is good. As you learn, you will pick up how sentence structure and word arrangement work in English. For example, in German one would say "darf ich ihnen helfen?" That translates literally into English as "may I you help?" and of course we don't say it that way.

Also, when you write in English, capitalize the letter i when referring to yourself, as in "I love Mustangs" or "I speak English well."
