The seats are started at the upholsterer's!!!

Looking at the seat bottom in the picture I would guess they are late model Mustang seats. But, thats just a guess...
 
Actually they are '93 Mustang seats without the head rests. I took them off just before taking them to King Kovers. I like them a lot better without the head rests. It'll be interesting to see how many can guess what kind they are. I wanted something different.
Yes, all of the upholstery will be in Ultra Leather. The trunk is carpeted with cut pile like the interior.

So since they are being made is the stich pattern the same or custom?

All this is fine if you like the smell of leather but getting in a car with that pure rich vinyl smell....well there's nothing like it. :lol :lol :lol
 
Thankfully, you're not reducing the endangered species of Nauga's.

Have you crawled in and out of those seats when in place? Because of the side wings being as big as they are, it can become a challenge to get in and out of those seats. The bigger you are...the more difficult it will be. Just saying I didn't warn you.
 
Actually, they basically the same design as the original seats. I really liked the way they were designed in the early '90s and I wanted to retain that style. If I don't like it, I'll just meet you at your house with the pink slip and sign it over to you! LOL

I would be calling the upholstery shop and get those bolsters made bigger and be there when the Stan first tries them out. Save him the trip with the pink slip........ :lol :lol :lol
 
Stan, seats are over rated, lets get some milk crates and take that bad boy for a cruise!!!! tell those boys to hurry up were fighting the clock here only one week left until Mustangs Plus!!!!

That interior is going to look killer. Nice choice on the stitching patter. I can't wait to see the completed project. You will have one beautiful car. :ecit
 
Are you having those made from scratch? Just wondering because TMI makes upholstery for those seats for probably quite a bit less than a custom set. They do several colors and even offer leather. They'll do custom fabrics, too.

I have some late '80's GT seats in my car and my upholsterer said I could get them alot cheaper from TMI than having him make them. Just sayin'
