Got the travel trailer out last month and noticed that the new belt trim, upper and lower, (a vinyl rubber trim) that I installed last August had some sort of fungus(?) on it. Only on the side of the trailer that gets the most sun. It was like spots under the vinyl. Nothing you could feel on top. I emailed the company I bought it from and their vendor sent me a couple new reels of both trim. We're talking 80-90ft each.

Last week getting the '67 ready for a car show I thought I'd look into why my left rear light (turn and taillight) LED wasn't working. Had power all the way to the LED board so called Mustang Project who I bought it from in 2010. This was when JohnPro was a beta tester for them. They said send it back. They can fix it.

Next was my motorcycle. Got it out and took the wheels off to mount new tires. In doing so I loosened the bolt that hold the front brake disc on. They were torx and didn't like being removed. Sort of chewed up the torx area. So I bought bolts new to replace. Replaced all but one. It moved a little then stopped. Chewed up the torx that is now useless. Tried vise grips. Nope. It still cleared the fork so the wheel could spin. I'll attack it later. Went to the gas station to fuel up for a ride in a couple weeks and get home trailing oil. Not good. Took the right fairing off and the leak seems to be the gasket for the overhead cams. Little too dangerous to ride to the BMW dealer 26 miles away with new tires and oil dipping toward the rear. Got a flat bed to take the bike to the dealer. Might as well have them remove the bolt too. Trouble is that the repair might be more than the bike is worth.

On the plus side I just got delivery of the new trim. The oil/water leak under the '67 seems to have fixed itself. A few longer drives after an oil change and no drips. We'll see as I drive over to Modesto this weekend.

I hope that's the end of it.

My life experience has been it never really stops raining for long but the heavy downpour bursts come and go. Besides, if we didn't have these little issues pop up now and again how could we begin to try and justify our expanding tool collections to the wives?
