So today Jeff, Craig and I did the following:

Installed Driver side visor, passenger tomorrow, and mirror bracket
Adjusted the timing, choke and idle on the carb
Installed Kick panels and scuff plates
Installed PS hose bracket
Installed font bumper bolts, one would not fit so redid them
Installed Export brace
Installed Monte Carlo bar
Installed rear antenna
Found and fixed the brake light issue

Tomorrow I will install a few gauges, the gear vendors processor and check all the fluids.

Then my goal is to put a least a 100 miles on the car if it's not raining.

Jeff and I have ordered a broom wagon full of tools to follow you :bowdown

I've sent you an email.

Probably will not get to work on the car much today just while the little guy is napping.

Pics coming soon!!!!

Only did about 20 miles due to time constraints but what a great 20!!! First time on the freeway in 4+ years!!!

Temp held at 195 the entire time, Oil PSI steady at around 50.

Car drives and pulls strong!!!!!!

For some reason I have an intermittent brake light issue, I think it's the turn signal connection. I am currently diagnosing.

Should have the gear vendors wiring done tonight!

Car looks awesome :thu

I love the stance and the tire selection, details please!

I am so jealous, I want to drive my car so bad.

I spent all weekend pressure washing my wife's new house.

Looks awesome. I love how your louver back panel looks on your sliver paint.

Sounds like a great first drive! Congrats!!!!

One question, what were the alignment specs you went with on your car?

Not bad if you like Mustangs....... :wtf

Congrats on getting it on the road. But just 20 miles? again :wtf

The first ride after so long must really feel good. The car looks great, congratulations.

Way cool, looking forward to seeing you and your Mustang at the Knott's show/weekend.

I need some cruising buddies next weekend so let me know who's up for a trip to alice's or something like that.

Yes, Shag and I will be available. Alices gets very busy with motor cycles on the weekends. You might want to consider Duartes in Pescadero for a crab sandwhich. You need some serious long distance mileage. Up and over the mountain range a couple times will help build the confidence. Whatever we do is still no comparison to the grueling trip to SoCal and into their traffic conditions.
