As the designated driver (sometimes) for Deb’s work trips, every once in awhile I hit the jackpot. Yesterday was one of those days!
We were in Decorah, IA and with the day’s work done, we made our way to one of the best micro breweries in Iowa if not nation. Toppling Goliath is the name and man they did not disappoint! Tried 5 different brews and landed on the Naughty 90. I don’t drink much or very often anymore, but that was one tasty brew.

And yes, I did bring a 64oz’r home!

They had great food too!

We have some great craft brews here in Michigan. Unfortunately, I have had to cut back to almost none. Been having gout flareups, and they are not fun. I am on meds now to prevent it, and have seriously cut back. Regular beer doesn't seem to bother me, but I have cut way back on that also. Sucks.

When I grew up, I lived near a German town (Munster, TX) and it seemed everyone brewed their own and would have aparty whenever their latest batch was ready. After I moved away, I could not drink the stuff they sell in stores as beer.
