I had that banner hanging in my home office for several years. One day about 6 months ago I heard a snap noise and it fell off of the wall. The vinyl somehow dried out to the point where it started to disintegrate. It broke into hundreds of pieces as I folded it into a trash bag. Big naked wall space in front of my desk now.
 
If you look carefully you will see issues in the lower right corner along the bottom edge. Thank goodness it is not at the top.
