Welcome Ky-stang

Live in the Lexington area but originally from Lake Cumberland. Have a 67 coupe that is finally moving under its own power. Back to the body shop this week to hopefully fix some issues that popped up..or out. I have been on the outside reading up on the forums for a couple years but decided to join in. Thanks for the welcome!

I live in Whitley City, which is just down the road from Lake Cumberland. What part are you from?
I remember maybe having the same conversation over at VMF lol.

Bill

Welcome aboard, YAY another Coupe! I've been to the hospital at Lake Cumberland....
Jon

Yeah Bill, I believe we have had this conversation a couple years ago. Originally from Monticello at the south end of the lake. Looks like your fastback is making some nice progress since I last seen any pics.
Jon, hope its a good story that goes along with being at Lake Cumberland Regional lol

It was a good experience, I wasn't there for treatment but for my new job to see their processes, etc. Met the administration and a couple Dr's, very nice modern facility and everyone was friendly. Hope to get to Somerset nights one of these weekends when my car is running.
Jon

Jon, That has been my same plan for the last two years! Lol they have a great turn out. It doesn't look like I'll make it again this years with my car. I also go there for work. Let me know if you make it for a weekend so we can try and meet up.

Wish I could make it to Somerset Nights on Aug. 24/25 for Mustang alley, I've been trying to get there for a year since hearing about it. If I get to go any weekend I'll post in the 'Events' board as a heads up and invite for any Stanfixers to meet somewhere on site.
Jon

Hmmm, I may have to see if I can talk the wife into taking her '09 Warriors in Pink to Mustang Alley....
Jim, I'll be in Sevierville next weekend, 7/28 & 29 doing some repairs to the MIL's place. Are there any cruise ins, car shows, etc. in Sevierville or surrounding that weekend? My car won't be running yet but I don't want to miss anything I can sneak off to... I'll probably hit the Gap in my Miata while I'm there, that's the weekend of the big drive for them.
Jon

Thanks for the tips, looks like Foothills is Sat. @5p according to the clubs website 'Join us every Saturday starting the 1st Saturday in April to the last Saturday in October starting @ 5:00PM till whenever at the Foothills Mall in front of JC Penny's for our weekly cruise in!' I was going to pass it on the way in Fri. but I guess not.

The Diner is 1mi. from where I'll be staying so I'll definately make that! I'll need to go to Lowe's next door i'm sure. Cruise in from 2p-9p and cheeseburgers, I may need to make a few 'Lowes' trips.... :yah

I just need to keep the wife and her sister stocked with wine and decorating supplies and I'll be free to go! Although, last time I left the two of them with a bottle of wine to paint the daughters room they painted all the electrical outlets shut! :gs

Thanks again, Jon
