What are these holes for

I am installing a light bar from mustangs to fear. The problem is my front end will not come off my car. I can get this bar on if I shave some metal of either corner if my rad support. There are two holes to bolt something on the car on either end of my rad support. If you lay on the ground and look up you can see them best. I have circled them in the pic attached. Does anyone know what they are used for?

The front valance bolts there with a J-clip.

Sweet. So since I have the Eleanor front end I can cut them off.

With the Eleanor front end, he will not have bumper guards.
