I'm going to sit home. No kids around for that sort of thing. Haven't had a trick or treaters in ten years since moving out of Kalifonia!

So unless SWIMBO comes up with a party or something I have to go to, bah humbug!

I don't dress up for Halloween. We take my daughter trick or treating but she is the only one in costume.

Our old neighborhood did trick or treat on Saturday no matter what day Halloween was, so I always work. No candy at our house.

My folks are taking the boys the weekend before Halloween, which is the day before my birthday. Which means the wife and I will have the house to ourselves...alone....for the first time in a year.

I'm going as an 80's hair metal rocker The problem is that no matter what I dress up as, I look like a pirate. I've resigned myself to people yelling "ARRRRRRRRRR" at me as a Halloween greeting by now. It's been happening for over a decade.

Of course, I'm still young enough that I have parties to get to instead of candy to pass out!
