What are you up to for Halloween?

Just another day livin' the life around here!

Saturday AM I took the pictures of the project POS Coupe and unloaded my truck of the removed pieces of the car. They're all stowed in the trunk and passenger compartment now.

I then went to a pretty good sized local car show. Over 100 cars. LOT's of high dollar show cars. I arrived very late and found a great spot.... until the event organizer came over and asked me to move as he was waiting on a buddies Ford GT to show up. Whatever, I moved.

Lastly, here's one for our bicycle enthusiast out west..... always thinking of you Craig!

I stayed at the car show for an hour or so, got bored and then went home and got my truck and went to Lowe's to get some new roofing panels for the greenhouse. Joe wants to do the labor of removing the old roof panels and installing the new panels sometime this week. More power to him!


Then we decided to go out partying. We weren't going to wear costumes, but some friends of ours convinced us otherwise. We went to the local Halloween costume shop and got my wallet lightened.

I was a pimp. Gabby was some sort of zoot suit girl. On the way to the club we picked up our "punk rocker" friend. And then met up with my buddies the pirate and the roman. What is not very clear in the photos of me..... while Gabby was taking an interminably long time to get ready, I decided to "enhance" myself with one of her "toys". It turned out to be a riot and all of the ladies were my friend for the evening. Complete strangers were staring, pointing, and laughing. It looked like I had grown a small arm to the inside of my leg and the pants of the costume were very tight in that area. For most of the evening I stood with one foot up on my chair displaying "the goods". I took every opportunity to "accidentally bump into" anyone who ventured near me. It was freakin' hilarious. Every time my buddy the pirate turned away, I'd rub myself on his shoulder. It was a riot.

Here's the little guys...they were the Mario brothers this year....They went trick or treating and got a second bucket of candy last night on top of the bucket of candy they got at the church carnival.

One of them was so tired this evening that he crashed on the couch at about 8 p.m. tonight and never really woke up when I carried him upstairs about 9:30 p.m. I think he got loaded up on candy last night and didn't sleep so well last night.

That is at the day care...I snapped the picture on Friday night when they went to a carnival there. I forget why they have a flaming guitar on the wall but it is left over from summer I think when they were having a "rocking summer" theme.....
