I strongly recommend some milder shocks to go with springs that stiff. The combo you're putting together is pretty close to what I've got on my '65 fb and my experience is that it is way too stiff for road use. If yours is a track car, then fine, but I hate mine for daily use. Ask Opentracker himself; I would expect him to counsel against such high rate springs and KYBs for the street. I am definitely changing out the springs and probably the shocks too. I've been out of the loop for four years, so I don't know what's the hot ticket today. But Bilstein would not be a bad choice, and good old parts counter hydraulic Monroes are a good budget choice."tt400" said:Ordered new 4.5 mid eye leaf springs, roller spring perches, 620 springs, shackles and 1" sway bar from Opentracker. Also got new steering and controll arms locally. Ordered some new KYB's today. Really wanted to go Bilistin but it was not in the budget right now.
