What did you get done on your Stang today????

I wrastled with my repop direct dash dash pad, that's a PITA! should've held out for a good used one :)

hooked up my heater cables, playing with under dash wiring.

hopefully I can mount my autometer dash soon, then steering column and drop the motor in..

After tackling the repairs to my truck I was still rev'd up to work. Since my roller spring perches still weren't finished I decided to do some more work on them. One was almost completed and sitting on the work bench (for about two months now!). I told myself I'd finish it up. Well between stopping for supper and then watching some TV it took awhile. I finally finished ONE of them, just need to paint it now....half way there!!

Finally got my 3G alternator in yesterday. After work today I came home and modified the alternator bracket so I could get it fitted. The new alternator didn't have threads in the upper mounting hole so I tapped them in. While I could have just installed a nut and bolt, I like the cleaner look of just having a bolt in it. I also did some mods to the back side of the bracket to accommodate the relocated dipstick. The bracket is now installed for the last time. Now I just have the P/S pump to mount and clean up the wiring harness for it. After that it'll finally be all ready to drop in!

i moved a blue tarp today & found a mustang underneath it! it started right up (hadn't been uncovered since early nov.) & i moved it back about 15 ft to hang the new lights on the front of the garage. let it sit in the sun a couple hours, then pulled it back into its spot & recovered. may drive it around the block tomorrow!

I dropped by the shop to see the progress on my motor. Long block is almost done. Now I need to start prepping the engine compartment for the motor.

Hi, thank you for the compliments. Those are AFR 165's; not modified or ported. I can't wait to trim that ugly excess blue gasket.

Spent the weekend swapping in the manual brakes, I love working under the dash lol. Well worth it however, no vacuum, no problem. Needs a bit more bleeding but got enough pedal to take it for it's first real ride. There's plenty of sorting out to be done, primarily with the tune. Gonna need a radiator upgrade also, the stock replacement 3-core with thermal clutch and shroud wasn't cutting it and it was only in the 70's. Car was running between 195-210. Been waiting to manual shift this car for 26 years, mission accomplished.

I finally spent some time with my stang today. I set the front on stands, drained the oil and coolant, removed alternator & brackets, the fan, the radiator and hoses to find all manner of orange slush. The spring in the lower radiator hose is pretty much scattered in bits throughout the engine at this point. That's gonna be fun!

Also took the carb off (Holley 600cfm 4160) and brought it home, along with the original 2-barrel. I'll get a rebuild kit for the Holley and see if the original is in any shape to sell.

Installed the new Cobra front brakes using the Street or Track brackets. They look huge on the car.

The 93 needed an alternator. I coached my 15 year old on Saturday and he did the swap with no issues while I cleaned and vacuumed out the Taurus and Expedition. We put the top down on the 93 and cruised it around Saturday until the storms rolled in.
I ordered a rebuilt 3.25 trac-lok 9" diff for the 67 from Currie. I'm hoping that it will be a decent compromise between the 2.50 and the 3.70's. The 3.70's are fun but use too much gas and the 2.50 peg leg is no fun but I avg. 16 mpg. I'm also buying a TT II wheel from Bravenrace for my spare.
Anybody need a Camaro?
