Just cleaned all the junk out that I accumulated during the Power Tour. I am now off to the car was to blow out all the bugs in the radiator. Later I will give the stang a nice was aand wax for not stranding us on the side of the road like all the Camaros I saw.

Visited NPD and purchased new trunck lid & rocker moldings.
Also finished all the guide coat and block sanding. A few small dents in the drivers door to repair and then I will be ready for paint!!!

Also had what I think was a great idea... New trunk lid has no holes for pin letters. Took old trunk lid and cut the top skin off using a side grinder to grind off the lip at the edge. The took a cut off wheel and cut the last 5 inches of the top skin off, taped the edges and used it for a guide to drill the pin letter holes in the new trunk. Worked great! This may have been done before but it was new to me, thought I would pass it on for use by others.

Good idea! Now you should pass that piece of metal around like Johnpro's fender lip bender to the rest of the StangFixer's.

Can do, we can add it to the Stangfix toll box!

are you using the same letters? when i did my fender i purchased new scott drake letters, and the f'in pins were in different spots.

if anybody needs a template from my original 69 lid, let me know.

set the car down today on all fours & started adjusting the ride height. i think i have it where i want it when the front end settles & gets aligned.
