WHITE CHRISTMAS!!!!

Started around 2300 yesterday, looking at about 5-6 inches right now. Unheard of around here for kids to make two snowmen in one winter.

Looks like the Windsor Oaks or Windsor Woods area... The style of house looks familiar.

I'm in Asheville at the in-laws, we had a white Christmas. Kept falling through the night, think we ended up with around 10-12" and got snowed in here up on top of the mountain. Friends in the Raleigh area said they got around 8-9" Hope to get back home maybe by Wednesday or Thursday. Weather forecast is calling for 60 this weekend!

Baaaah, chump trucks. I'll take my F250, 7.3 turbo diesel, house ripping torque monster any day.

You rip houses with your truck? What do the owners do afterwards?

Covered Wagons.....hey they live on the Prairie!

And they have to watch where they step with all that bison chips laying around. It's relatively easy, since those chips are the only topography there.

Is that just outside Oceana?

Yep. Come out back gate, go straight on London Bridge past Damn Neck intersection, and the subdivision is on the right behind that little strip mall and the Miller Mart gas station.

I'm sure it no longer looks as it did when I was in HS... BTW, how are the roads? We're supposed to head up there today for a second Christmas with parents.

Roads here are generally ok now. What melts has been freezing overnight so some patches of ice in the morning, but right now with the temp up its pretty good. And nice out.
