Barrett Jackson suggestions

KBMWRS What did the moron say today?

So I thought hey why not take a drive.

Heading for Scottsdale to go to the auction, well at least general admission. I don't really need to see the auction itself, I'll watch that on TV. Interested in all the cars and the vendors. My wife agreed since we can visit her cousins in Palm Springs on the way back.

So anyone have suggestions for motel/hotel/restaurant or things to do at the auction?

Planning on staying Wed/Thurs/Fri nights and go to the auction Thurs & Fri.

Will the new Bullitt be at BJ too?

My guess is the pre-production unit will be on display and if Ford follows their past, they will auction off the first production unit for charity.

The Ford site stated they were showing it at the Detroit show. Has anyone see any info about it at BJ?

    Here ya go.

Lot #3006 - Ford Motor Company and the McQueen estate are donating VIN 001 of the new limited-edition 2019 Mustang BULLITT for a special charity auction benefitting Boys Republic, Steve McQueen’s own school. The BULLITT features a V8 engine that packs more than 475hp and 420 ft/lbs of torque to push the car to 163 mph max speed. Saluting the 1968 movie car, the Dark Highland Green exterior paint is complimented by subtle chrome accents, a 12" all-digital LCD instrument cluster and Recaro black leather seats (optional) with unique green accent stitching. VIN 001 will be built in mid-2018 with all available options. 100% of the hammer price will go to Boys Republic, a private, nonprofit, nonsectarian school and treatment community for troubled youngsters. Since its founding in 1907, it has guided more than 30,000 at-risk teenage boys and girls - including Steve McQueen - toward productive, fulfilling lives. **100% OF THE HAMMER PRICE TO BENEFIT BOYS REPUBLIC** **TO BE SOLD AT APPROXIMATELY 7:30 PM MST ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 19, 2018**
