thanks for sharing, lots of cool stuff. And I have been to that show in Paw Paw before. I used to live in Leland and also DeKalb, both of which aren't that far from Paw Paw. IIRC they have some sign going into Paw Paw about the first Harlem Globe Trotters road game there or something to that effect? Or was that Hinkley? Anyway, cool pics. I think I saw that greenish Crown Vic/F100 on the Power Tour.

Caught a huge break yesterday in that the weather forecast got better. The area was supposed to be a rain soaked mess all weekend but as luck would have it the rain let up and we only had overcast skies all afternoon. That meant car shows would be on! I had one selected to attend weather willing at a local community college just under an hour from home. Pictures from prior years showed it to be well attended by the classic crowd so it fit my criteria.

Terry nice set of pics I really like the 70 Torino and would take the opportunity if it ever came along to own one.

For me it was that 1962 Thunderbird Roadster. That is all factory stock. I have always been a big fan of the 50's Birds but never any others. That thing made a convert of me. That just screams 60's, top down, cruising out across the Nevada desert cool. Rat Pack days.

Went to the Chicago Mustang club's show at the Autobahn Country Club yesterday. It's a private road course track club. Lots of cars. Parking was on the grass which was wet and the ground was soft from days of rain. Be cleaning the underside for days this week. Car smells of burnt grass and dirt. We did parade laps (just 2) on the track. I held back from the car in front as much as a could so I could at least goose it into a few corners. :D Sorry no pics on track didn't have a passenger with me. Only took pics of a handful of cars, sorry. The Talladega was SWEET!

Yes that Talladega is sweet, had a friend that used to have one. Wish I could have afforded it when he was selling it. On the last picture of the red car, what's the contraption below the carburetor?

KBMWRS What did the moron say today?

    T-Bird

I think that contraption is a air swirller.(sp?)....making some type of vortex...not sure though.

Interesting shock tower caps on the Shelby in the first pic. Never seen those before. Are they a part of the aftermarket engine bracing?

That's an old school centrifugal supercharger. Seen a few lately. Really cool stuff.

Just billet pieces. You can find them for sale all over the place by themselves.

Early 1967 GT350 there, that is if it is authentic. First 200 were all 350s and had those red lights on the upper air extractor.
