New shop

Coming along very nicely!

Are there going to be stairs to the upper floor? You could install a firemen's pole to get down like in Ghostbusters!

I am amazed at how fast it is all coming together. I started mine 5 years ago and I still have finish work to do....albeit I am using it for it's intended purpose already.

That's looking really good, they are doing a great job.

Looking better and better everyday.

Are you going to pave a driveway or anything that leads to that?

It's funny. As it was coming together it seemed (as it always does) to be getting smaller as the walls went up but that shot from the end with the garage door opening gives it good scale and makes it look like it truly is a good sized building. I want one!

Yeah. I’m happy with the size. I’m excited to start moving into it.

Shop looks great... If I were you, I'd run a 3' tall strip of ice and watershield along that lower edge of the OSB plywood that runs close to your embankment. Tyvek is not a water barrier. I had to replace a 15 year old section of plywood wall that wasn't properly flashed and the tyvek along with the plywood was badly decomposed. If you at all suspect your going to get any significant moisture against that wall, consider the ice and water shield. Even 30# felt/Tar paper is better. As a matter of fact, we just added to the back of our house and used tar paper through out in place of Tyvek.

Are you gettting 220 set for the shop? Need it for Air Compressor, arc welder, etc

Yeah. Electric is already ran to the garage. Nothing is connected but we are close to wiring the interior.

when is the grand opening? I want to come check out the ribbon cutting!
That is going to be sweet, now I really wish we were closer than 2 1/2 hours apart!
